Boom pumps · spider boom · line pump · rentals

Concrete pumping from our own fleet, run by operators who also finish the slab.

With in-house pumps from an 18M spider boom to two 47M booms, Poppoff has the right equipment for pours of all sizes, from tight residential spaces to large commercial and industrial projects. Contractors can rent a pump from the Moxee shop.

Chapter 01

From an 18 meter spider boom to two 47 meter pumps, all of it ours.

Meet our fleet: a 31M Z-Boom, a 38M Z-Boom, a 38M Pump, two 47M pumps and an 18M Spider Boom, plus a Line Pump. The number is the boom's reach in meters, and the spread is the point: a tight residential pad, an elevated deck and a 200 foot wall do not call for the same machine.

The spider boom carries an 18 meter reach on a compact footprint, which is why it goes inside buildings and onto elevated decks where a big truck cannot set up. A Z-boom folds in a zigzag instead of a straight telescope, which helps where overhead clearance is tight. The larger pumps take the long placements on open slabs and tall walls.

The line pump covers what a boom cannot: small-volume placements and spots where no boom truck can park. Between line pumps and boom pumps, the in-house fleet places concrete exactly where it needs to go, quickly, safely and efficiently, on our own jobs and on other contractors' jobs.

Operators who understand placement from both ends of the hose.

Unlike rental companies, Poppoff's pump operators don't just run the equipment. They understand concrete placement from both ends of the hose, with expertise in pumping and in finishing. Pumping is its own division here, with its own general manager, Ray W.

That shows on a complex pour. An operator who has finished a slab knows when the mix is arriving faster than the screed can strike it off, knows what a stalled placement costs, and adjusts the boom before anyone has to ask. Our people anticipate challenges and adjust on the fly.

Clint Adamson, in a Google review, put it in his own terms: his company relies on Poppoff to get to, pump and finish projects for its customers through Central Washington. Getting there, pumping and finishing is the whole sentence, and it is one crew.

Chapter 03

Maintained in the Moxee shop, and available to rent.

Each pump is maintained by our in-house shop technicians, so the same machines are ready for our pours and for rent.

The Beaudry Road shop in Moxee was expanded to 45,000 square feet in 2017 to house five concrete pumps and four laser screeds, and Poppoff bought its first in-house pump back in 2006. The technicians in that shop keep the booms, pipe and pumping units in order between jobs, which matters on a pour that cannot be paused for a breakdown.

Other contractors rent the same pumps. To Request A Pump, call or write: a rental request goes to the Moxee office at 509-575-8353, open Monday to Friday, 7 to 4, and the pour details, meaning the placement, the reach and the date, decide which machine goes.

The big pours: a 200 foot grain tower, 1,000 steps and a 61 meter pump.

At the Vigen Cargill grain tower in Granger in 2025, Poppoff pumped a 200 foot tall continuous concrete pour of 3,400 cubic yards over 13 days. A continuous pour over that many days makes the pump part of the structure's schedule rather than an afterthought.

The 1,000 Steps at Suncadia Resort in Cle Elum is 18 flights of colored stairs climbing from the river bed up 20 stories to the lodge. For each set of stairs Poppoff used a 61 meter concrete pump, set up from the top or the bottom of the hill, and some pours needed 100 feet of slick line added to the end of the hose to reach the point of placement.

Today the same operators work the night pours at the WinCo distribution site in Ellensburg, the clubhouse build at Westwood Golf Course in Yakima and the Lineage freezer slabs in Richland.
