Turnkey concrete · one contractor, whole site
Turnkey concrete services for the entire site, interior and exterior, built on value engineering
From flatwork and foundations to site paving and structural elements, we manage every phase of a concrete project with experience and dependability.
Chapter 01
Value engineering starts before the first stake
We work alongside engineers, architects and building owners to validate project specs early, catching design implications before they become costly rework in the field. It is cheaper to move a joint layout on paper than in a cured slab, and the people who will place the concrete usually see the problem first.
Autozone is the clearest case. Its Pasco distribution center is a 430,000 SF building on a Ductilcrete slab system that took almost 5 miles of joints out of the original layout and stretched joint spacing to the columns at 54 by 54 feet, with 615,000 SF of 3D site paving around it. Joseph Lorson of Autozone wrote that the work was completed on time, within budget and with high quality, and that our help with the design specs let them achieve substantial savings over bids.
Being asked before the plans are final is an old habit here. We have placed the slab in 68 Costco warehouses in the United States and consulted on more than 38 warehouses internationally.

One contractor for the entire site, inside and out
We are the only contractor in the region equipped to handle the entire site, interior and exterior. In practice that is footings, slab on grade, tilt-up panels, paving, curb and sidewalk under one crew, one safety program and one schedule, instead of five subcontractors handing the same site to each other.
LKQ Auto Parts in Moses Lake (2025) put 8,000 cubic yards of concrete into one site: 200,000 SF of slab on grade, 120,000 SF of tilt-up panels, 120,000 SF of paving and 3,500 LF of curb and sidewalk.
Local Bounti in Pasco (2024) was a 200,000 SF greenhouse where the package was footings, equipment pads, tank pads, paving and the slab itself. At the Vigen Cargill grain tower in Granger (2025) it was 200,000 SF of slab on grade, footings and all the sitework, plus pumping for the tower wall: a continuous 200 foot pour of 3,400 cubic yards over 13 days.
Chapter 03
Our own survey crew keeps the grade honest
In 2025 Poppoff added in-house site surveying and layout with 5 total stations. The grade we pour to is the grade we shot, and the layout stakes are set by people on our own payroll rather than by a third party working to a schedule that is not ours.
Survey is also what ties the rest of the package together. Slab edges, panel locations, curb lines and paving falls all come off one set of control points, so a footing at one end of the site and a curb at the other are measured from the same place.
Standards we help write, not just follow
Concrete work is governed by documents from the American Concrete Institute and the American Society of Concrete Contractors, and Poppoff contributes to both. Matt Poppoff became a voting member of ACI Committees 302 and 640 in 2019 and shares his expertise through white papers. Mike Poppoff served a two-year term as ASCC President beginning in 2014, the same year we placed our largest pour: 3,100 yards and 51,000 SF.
In the field that shows up as knowing why a spec says what it says, and when it can sensibly change. Safety belongs to the same discipline: Poppoff has been an AGC Safety Team member since January 1993 and earned ASCC Zero Lost Time Accident awards for every year from 2006 to 2018.
